Nolan??™s guest this week is Bruce Pearson. Bruce Pearson is a world-famous music educator, composer, creator, and conductor.
He is maybe best known representing his authorship of the Criterion of Superiority Inclusive Band Way and representing his co-authorship with Dean Sorenson of the extensively-acclaimed Criterion of Superiority Jazz Outfit Way and Advanced Jazz Ensemble Way (Neil A. Kjos Music Companionship), which are currently regarded as the two most important publications for start band and jazz band order.
In adding to Criterion of Superiority, Mr. Pearson is extensively known for his first contribution to the band curriculum, Superlative In Rank and as composer of many widely performed compositions for concert band and jazz ensemble.
